Leadership & Gender Training

WOCAN leverages leadership training to influence change in institutions by building capacities of change agents who guide the process from within. Our leadership initiatives increase women’s access to and control over resources.

Courses developed and piloted by WOCAN Lead Trainers over the past fifteen years – are conducted by the Lead Trainers and members of two regional teams of trainers who are coached and supported by the Lead Trainers. The courses are offered to organizations and individuals, both men and women, to support gender equality and strengthen leadership development at all levels. The WOCAN leadership brand uses WOCAN training materials and the trainer teams to deliver training courses.

WOCAN's training builds on the strengths of women and men members who have demonstrated leadership in organizational change, advocacy, research, project design and implementation, capacity building etc, in the agriculture and NRM sectors.
