Technical Support

To achieve our purpose, we provide technical support to generate new knowledge through analysis of specific issues and pilot projects to inform policy and program development, to ultimately enhance the abilities of women farmers/entrepreneurs to meet their practical needs related to food security, energy and sustainable development, while addressing their strategic interests for empowerment and balanced gender relations. WOCAN also acts as an ‘incubator’ of new field-tested ideas that support its mission, through innovative ideas that may serve to increase women’s assets and transform gender relations.
