WOCAN launched the Women’s Carbon Standard (WCS) on April 24th, 2013 in FCCT, Bangkok, Thailand. Jeannette Gurung, Executive Director of WOCAN and Marion Verles, Executive Director of Nexus-Carbon for Development presented the WCS and highlighted opportunities the WCS provides to improve the lives of women while responding to climate change.
