Gender Action releasde the Gender Toolkit for IFI Watchers. This continuously updated vital and user-friendly resource aims to help civil society and women’s organizations incorporate a gender perspective into their work on International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and in other projects. In doing so, the Toolkit contributes to a collective CSO movement for women’s rights and gender justice in all IFI investments.
The latest Toolkit updates and additions include:
- Analyses of the leading global gender indices with a focus on quantifying unpaid care work
- Integration of unpaid care work in our “Essential Gender Checklist for Gender Analysis”
- New glossary gender terms and concepts
- A list of the most recent IFI gender policies
The Toolkit also includes resources on gender auditing and analysis, gender budgeting and data, and gender sensitive writing. Each section of the Toolkit includes convenient hyperlinks to an array of gender resources.
