Liz Allen and Lisa McMullan of Social Audit Network (SAN) hosted the online launch of theSAN’s W+ Standard Verifier Program on 27 March. They gave a brief overview of the W+ Standard and explained the verification process. They also provided the detail explanation of SAN principles which are:
- Clarity purpose
- Define scope
- Engage stakeholders
- Determine materiality
- Make comparisons
- Be transparent
- Verify accounts
- Embed the process
They explained the competence based approach to become a SAN W+ Standard verifier.

If anyone is interested in becoming a SAN W+ Standard Verifier they can send an email with ‘EOI W+ Standard Verifier Application’ in the subject and SAN will send the application form and invitation to join the online resource platform.
The first deadline for submission is 30 June 2020, with a further opportunity to submit by 30 September 2020.
