Future 500 Leadership Circle Workshop

Nisha Onta, Regional Coordinator for Asia, facilitated the Equity@Scale‘s first Future 500 Leadership Circle on 2 Dec in Jakarta, Indonesia, organized in partnership with IIX. Equity@Scale is a two-year initiative to empower leaders and organizations, men and women, with access to knowledge, networks, capital and resources to transform the world for women’s empowerment.

The 2019 Future 500 Fellowship Program has accepted a small cohort of social enterprises that are innovating solutions and building gender-transformative businesses. They have compelling business models that are inclusive and forward-looking and demonstrate a deep commitment to improving the livelihoods of their communities through social and environmental impacts.

One of the main activities of the Fellowship is the mentorship program. Each Fellow gets to interact with mentors who are leaders in their fields.

The Future 500 Leadership Circle is organized by IIX (www.iixglobal.com) and WOCAN (www.wocan.org). The main objective of this workshop is to connect the Fellows with mentors and facilitate discussions that will support them to integrate social and environmental impact and women’s empowerment into the core of their businesses.
