Jeannette was a panelist on a session entitled ‘Empowering Entrepreneurship to Advance the Lives of Women’ at the AVPN 2019 Conference on 27 June in Singapore. Panelists brought diverse perspectives on the obstacles and opportunities for entrepreneurs in Asia, as entrepreneurs are increasingly being viewed as important players with the unique ability to lead, innovate and scale solutions to issues related to agriculture, healthcare and domestic violence in an efficient manner. This panel brought together leading voices on entrepreneurship, gender equality and women’s empowerment from around the region to discuss how supporting and developing entrepreneurs can help advance the lives of women.
