Dibya Gurung, WOCAN Core Associate, facilitated the training workshop on Gender Integration in REDD+ in Cambodia on 25-27 March at Kep Province in Cambodia. The workshop was chaired by H.E-Ms. MOM Thany, Secretary of State, Ministry of Environment and was organized by UNDP/REDD+ Secretariat and REDD+ Gender group. There were 29 participants (22 women & 7 men) representing MoE. MAFF (Fishery, Forestry and Protected Areas), MoWA, RECOFTC, Winrock and NGO forum.The participants developed gender action plans for fishery, community forestry and protected areas in line with the findings and recommendation of the report‘Mainstreaming Gender into Cambodia’s REDD+ Action and Investment Plan’.
