Nisha Onta, Regional Coordinator for Asia, facilitated the workshop organized by GIZ FOR-CC project and FAO-RAP on 23 April in Bali, Indonesia. The objective of the workshop was to review and endorse the ASEAN Ministers Meeting on Agriculture and Forestry (AMAF) Approach on Gender Mainstreaming in the Food, Agriculture and Forestry Sectors. The recommendations in the AMAF’s Approach serve as reference guides for ASEAN Member States (AMS) in their efforts to promote gender equality in the food, agriculture and forestry sectors.
