WOCAN hosted the Women in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (WARM) meeting on 18 June in Bangkok. WARM is an informal gathering initiated by WOCAN to share, learn and build a network of individuals who are interested in issues related to Women in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (with men warmly welcomed). The 12 participants (11 women and 1 man) represented UN Agencies, private sector, research institutes and INGO. The discussion focused on various perspectives on the partnership between private sector and NGOs for shared value initiatives, sustainability and gender equality. The next WARM will be scheduled for August 2015.
