WOCAN Conducted the Gender Integrated Planning Training for CDKN India Program

Barun Gurung, WOCAN Lead Trainer, and Dibya Gurung, WOCAN Trainer and Core Associate, facilitated the Gender Integrated Planning Training for CDKN-Gender Hub for India Country Programme from 23 to 26 of February in New Delhi, India. The objective of the training was to integrate gender into the planning of the four projects in India:

• Tackling Extreme Heat: NRDC, IIPH, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation
• District Level Disaster Planning: GEAG, ISET, NIDM, Government of UP
• Decentralized renewable energy franchise model: TARA, CKinetics
• Uttarakhand Vulnerability Assessment: INRM, ICF, CHEA, Government of Uttarakhand

The three day intense training focused on problem analysis, setting objectives ad results, planning activities, inputs and outputs and also developing targets and M&E plan.
