The UN-REDD Program newsletter featured the REDD+ Stakeholdermeeting organized as part of a Joint Regional Initiative started a year ago by the UN-REDD Programme, USAID-funded Lowering Emissions in Asia’s Forests (LEAF) and Women Organizing for Change in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (WOCAN) to help guide countries in the region on the importance of integrating gender perspectives and promoting women’s inclusion in the forest sector, including REDD+.
