This Webinar hosted by Landesa and the US State Dept. began with a fireside chat with Secretary John Kerry, then engaged speakers from WOCAN, Landesa and the Association for Land Reform and Development to discuss challenges and opportunities at the intersection of the climate crisis and gender inequality and the strategies found to be effective. Jeannette focused on the scarcity of funds for local women’s groups, silos that exist between gender and climate experts, and the need to go beyond gender mainstreaming to focus on the measurement of outcomes and incentives to achieve real change.
