Nisha Onta, WOCAN Regional Coordinator for Asia, attended the interaction program to provide feedback on Nepal’s Status Paper for COP 25 on 23 Aug in Kathmandu, Nepal. The program was organized by the Ministry of Forest and Environment and chaired by Somnath Gautam, Section Officer of the Climate Change Management Division. The participants were representatives from various NGOs working in the environment sector and they provided feedback on the content and structure of the Status Paper. The participants were also asked to submit case studies which can be showcased in the paper.
