WOCAN hosted the Women in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (WARM) meeting on 4 August in Bangkok. WARM is an informal gathering initiated by WOCAN to share, learn and build a network of individuals who are interested in issues related to Women in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (with men warmly welcomed). The 12 participants (11 women and 1 man) represented UN Agencies, social business, research institutes and NGO. The discussion focused on the importance of informal networking event such as WARM and brainstormed ideas for organizing a ‘Women in Environment’ series of networking event to broaden our network in Bangkok.
