This Guidance Note to Integrate Gender in Implementing REDD+ Social Safeguards in Indonesia lists out the recommendation for both policy level and project level. Some of the recommendations are as follows:
- Ensure effective and meaningful participation of women in the development and implementation of
REDD+ policies. - Develop a roadmap for gender mainstreaming in REDD+.
- Develop gender responsive monitoring.
- Strengthen women’s organizations, networks and self help groups.
