The report, Gender and REDD+: An Asia Regional Analysis provides a summary of gender components of REDD+ programs in Asia, a sub-regional summary of women’s forest use and role in forest management and governance, and recommendations for how upcoming programs can mainstream gender considerations into REDD+ projects by learning from and building upon current regional REDD+ models, to ensure that USAID assistance makes the optimal contribution to gender equality.
